Claire 1Originally from the Central Belt of Scotland Claire joined Columba 1400 in April 2013. During her first five and a half years at Columba 1400 Claire worked from Columba 1400’s Edinburgh office managing Academies across all phases. Now living in the Highlands, Claire is focussing on the Residential Element of the Academy. Having lived in Stirling and Clackmannanshire,

Claire moved to rural Aberdeenshire in 1992 where she got her first taste of country life and the great outdoors, a passion she still holds dear to her heart. She returned to the University of Stirling to study Sociology and Social Policy graduating in 2003, and went on to work in Community Care.

Claire calls her Columba 1400 journey as insightful, humbling and a lot of fun! She describes working with different Young People and Adults every week not only as very special, but helpful in informing her own leadership journey. In her spare time Claire enjoys exploring the Highlands on foot and on bike. She enjoys listening to all different kinds of music, reading as much as she can and taking as many pictures as possible.
