On Friday, 24 March we are launching our first Care Fest in East Lothian.

It’s an opportunity to bring the care-experienced community together. Care-experienced young people can explore their potential and the opportunities open to them.

We’re delighted to welcome guest partners Newbattle Abbey College, Who Cares Scotland, Edinburgh Napier University, Edinburgh College, Heriot Watt University, HUB for Success, The Open University, Heavy Sound, The Bridges Project, East Lothian Young Carers, East Lothian Inclusion and Wellbeing and East Lothian Active Schools.

Plus: Stalls, Games, Food & Music!

They’ll chat to young people about what opportunities they can offer them and will each present a 30 minute session.

Please note the final line-up may be subject to last-minute changes out of our control.

The Columban warmth of welcome will be there in spades. Young people can enjoy music and refreshments as they make connections and learn about exciting possibilities for their futures.

Care Fest will be held on Friday, 24 March from 9.30am to midday at Preston Lodge High School in Prestonpans.

Everyone from the care-experienced community welcome. No need to book.
