Show your support for youth social action this Power of Youth Day – Tuesday, 4 June.
Young people make a huge impact in our communities every day. They use their energy, skills and ideas to make positive change in their local areas and
beyond, working to shape a better future for everyone.
Kodie Stewart, one of our Columba 1400 graduates, is one of these young people who makes a difference in her community. Last year she was recognised for her dedication at the Glasgow Community Champion Awards, run by the Glasgow Times.
Our aim at Columba 1400 is to enable more young people, especially those from tough realities, and the key adults in their life, to lead lives of purpose, meaning and contribution. We want to support and empower them to play an even bigger role in shaping their communities and society.
Every year, thousands of people across the UK celebrate Volunteers’ Week. On Tuesday, 4 June, we’re joining in to share the Power of Youth.
At Columba 1400 we believe that it should be the norm for every young person to reach their full potential and to make a positive difference in their community.
